CasaGiga 472 (Corigliano d'Otranto)

We found this farm through the Museo dei Bambini Lecce website because our toddler loves animals, and we were excited to visit. Before driving there, I called to ask for information, but my calls went unanswered. Later, we discovered that our number had been blocked because it was an international number. We still drove all the way to the farm based on the positive reviews, only to be told that visits are by booking only and that we had to leave. It was very disappointing, especially after making the effort to travel with a young child. If bookings are mandatory, this should be made much clearer on the advertising and website. Blocking an international number instead of simply answering or returning the call was unhelpful and left us with a very poor experience. I hope this feedback helps prevent other families from making the same unnecessary trip.

My review is only about a dinner we had. The food was ok. Not too exceptional. The service was great though, and we felt well taken care of The thing I did not like is being charged full price for a six-year-old, who barely ate, even though I verified ahead of time, they would have an alternative menu or pricing option for a child

Esta CasaGiga is all that we are looking for as a family with young kids. Wide open spaces, nature, history, animals and a beautiful family and personnel that ensures you have the best holiday possible. We enjoyed the cucina with its local food and the vegetables and fruit from the fields, as well as the surroundings (many places to visit within short distance). In 1 word: perfect.
