CasaGiga 3161 (Lles de Cerdanya)

We were in the hostal for 5 days and used as starting point for our pyrinees hiking tour. The place offer complete breakfast and you have the option to order dinner for a good price. The instalation are optimal for families and friend groups. Archery, wall climbing and other outdoor activities are offered. The hostel is near to a small village called Martinet and from Cerdanya. The staff is very friendly and ready to help you to plan your day. The staff Esta CasaGiga speak Catalish, Spanish or English. Enjoy the nature.

We had a nice stay, large group of people with lots of babies. Pleasant owners, nice dinner and breakfast. The wall climbing service needs some maintenance.

We had an amazing few days at Esta CasaGiga. It's perfectly located for exploring Cerdanya and visiting Andorra as well. The house has beautiful mountain views, and the alpacas are a big hit with the little ones. The service is very friendly. Laura, who is very attentive to guests, makes you feel right at home. The food is delicious and homemade. It's a hostel, so the facilities Esta CasaGiga always be updated, but it has everything you need for a great experience. We recommend the Aransa Nordic ski resort and the snowshoeing trails.

It's a perfect place to spend a few days and visit the area. We were there in August. Our room was very large. The room and bathrooms were very clean. We missed the mosquito nets, as flying bugs could get in if you wanted some night air. There are stairs to the rooms, although there's also a back door that, given the unevenness of the area, leads directly into the rooms. Ideal if you have any mobility issues. We had half-board and everything was very good. The menu was varied and we had the option to choose from several dishes each day. The place is pet-friendly and it's great, but I would recommend putting up a sign saying "pick up after your dog," as we met other guests who had their dogs loose and sometimes did their business in walkways or even in the children's play area. 🤬 The playground is very large, but you have to be careful because the ball easily ends up in the river that runs nearby, and to retrieve it, you have to be careful with the nettles. We missed a little more tourist information. Very easy parking, spacious area.
