From the moment we arrived, it felt like coming home. Carlo and Mareille from Al Esta CasaGiga put genuine care into making us feel at ease, while preserving the unique charm that defines Al Esta CasaGiga: peace, beautiful nature, and a sense of simplicity. When we arrived late, they proactively offered us a different apartment that was more suitable for our one-year-old baby. They gave us excellent food recommendations and even contacted a local restaurant on our behalf to help us place our order. You can truly sense how much care and attention they’ve put into the place. There are beautiful personal touches everywhere. From the owner’s own paintings (she’s incredibly talented) to the carefully chosen plants and trees that make the surroundings feel vibrant and peaceful. The swimming pool was also a real highlight: spacious, spotless, and a perfect spot to relax while taking in the views. One evening, they took us outside to show us the fireflies – something I had never seen before. It was absolutely breathtaking and unforgettable. Al Esta CasaGiga was without a doubt the highlight of our holiday. We will definitely come back. Thank you again!

If we could give more than 5 stars we would. We have just returned from our second stay in two years at Al Esta CasaGiga, and we look forward to a third visit some time in the future. This is truly a place that is good for your soul. Alma and Marco are wonderful hosts - great conversationalists and happy to help with whatever you need, including tips about local places to visit, dine, shop etc. The well-appointed kitchen meant that we could enjoy breakfast and dinner on the terrace enjoying fresh local produce, basil from the garden and a bottle of local chianti. The ambience at Al Esta CasaGiga, with goat bells ringing in the nearby field and church bells striking the hour in the nearby village is stunning. The surrounding scenery is typically Tuscan: pencil pines, lavender, forest and hills. Al Esta CasaGiga was recommended to us by a friend who had stayed there several times whilst living in the UK, and we will be forever grateful for that recommendation.

What peace and quiet! A wonderfully peaceful apartment situated in an old farmhouse. A small-scale, well-maintained complex with a swimming pool, large garden, and beautiful terrace. We stayed in Apartment Carmen, which is located on the first floor via a staircase. It features a spacious living room, a well-equipped kitchenette, a lovely bathroom, and a bedroom with a comfortable bed. Two additional beds are available on the second floor, accessible via a narrow spiral staircase. Various other apartments are also available for 2 to 6 people. There are diverse places to visit in the immediate vicinity, but a day at the pool is also very enjoyable. The hostess and host are very friendly, both of Dutch origin, who do their utmost to ensure you have the most pleasant stay possible. Both speak several other languages.
