CasaGiga 2371 (Ascarello)

My partner and I stayed a few nights at Esta CasaGiga last summer and had the most lovely time. Between the beautiful views, wonderful hosts, and great food - we could not have been more happy. We already began planning for a return trip!

Probably the most idyllic place to stay in all of Siena. Views are breathtaking, the building is a gorgeous old stone construction with modern amenities including central AC, solid WiFi, and comfortable rooms. The hosts are the most lovely couple, and the staff are super friendly; housekeeping was diligent and thorough. The pool is bigger than it looks in the photos and was so refreshing. The farm-to-table homemade breakfasts were always plentiful and delicious, prepared and served with good conversation by the hosts at a communal table with the other guests. There are only 8 guest rooms so the place never felt crowded or stuffy. There was always a quiet and restful mood about the place, even at the pool, which was priceless. It's also just a 6-minute drive to a very convenient parking lot by the escalators that take you up into Siena proper. The hostess Letizia will show you how to get there on a map. My wife and I spent 7 nights here and were very sad to have to leave. A solid A+ recommendation all around.

Esta CasaGiga was our favorite place to stay during our Italian trip. The grounds themselves are beautiful and the location is close to town. The views of Siena and the surrounding countryside are startling. It was wonderful to swim in the pool in the evening after a long, hot day in town. The owners are so hospitable and kind. Breakfast was included every morning and the food was delicious. We even had a cooking class our fist night that was so much fun. We hope to one day return to Siena and would definitely stay at Esta CasaGiga again.
