The house is fine. Everything is very old and poorly maintained, but it's okay. However, I wasn't very impressed with the service. The beds weren't made, and there weren't enough sheets and towels for all the beds and people in our group. There was very little toilet paper, and not even a single piece of firewood to start the fireplace. These are small details, but they make all the difference.
It was a very good 3 days and 2 nights. The house was a bit cold, and having to buy firewood upon arrival meant it took a while to heat up, even though there were two heaters on the table. The living room and kitchen were large and well-equipped. The bedrooms had heating, but in two of them, the heaters turned off after a short time. There was only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, which wasn't enough for 3 days and 9 people. The dishwasher didn't work perfectly, but it did speed things up. There weren't any cleaning products to clean the bathroom, for example. But apart from those minor details, we had a very good weekend. The house was fine, and we were able to walk around and see the town and surrounding area, which was the reason we came.
The truth is, the house is quite basic in terms of what you might expect from a holiday home, although the owner was very helpful and quickly resolved a minor issue. The house is comfortable and located in a very quiet part of the village, ideal for hiking in the area.
Very spacious and welcoming house, very well equipped. Sleeps many (more than 12). The kitchen is huge and the living room is very cozy, with a fireplace and plenty of seating. It's not close to the town center, but it's near some great hiking trails, making it ideal for that. Very big house and cozy place. It's nicely equipped too. Capacity for many people (more than 12). Dry for being one of the rainiest towns in Spain, but very beautiful overall, and as for the rain, that's just another problem in Spain.
