CasaGiga 237 (Cléon d'Andran)

Quiet, charming, lovely... Brigitte has created a beautiful respite for travelers visiting the valley of the Drôme. The rooms are well designed and appointed, and the location is off the beaten track and bucolic. Her « Mas » is located in a quite place, with a great view on the mountains, and close enough to a couple of other towns that have good restaurant options. Our vacation was highlighted by the wonderful swimming pool (oh..the view!), all the fun farm animals and her hospitality. Very highly recommended.

This is our second time staying at this gîte, and we always have a wonderful holiday. The farmhouse is beautiful and well-equipped with spacious bedrooms. We also thoroughly enjoy the outdoor areas: a lovely terrace for drinks and meals, and a very pleasant swimming pool with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. Thank you again to our hosts for your kindness and warm welcome.

The cottage is spacious, and the pool is lovely. Unfortunately, the owner is overly demanding, making the stay much less enjoyable. Each guest must sign a set of house rules with very specific regulations (for example, no swimming in the pool while wearing sunscreen). The check-out inventory is a real hassle (the check-in inventory is already pre-filled). If you don't want to deal with any difficulties during your rental, I don't recommend this cottage.
